Now Get Web Radio on your PSP

I am writing this after a long break but it was cool. Now it's easy to get web radio on your PSP.

Net radio is high on our list of favourite things, and now Sony's getting in on the act by bringing it to the PSP.

Hour after hour of the likes of Station Agent, Sky.fm 80s and the, ahem, Disney channel, will be available in Japan from 18 December, rolling out around the planet in the coming months.

The addition is part of the Big S's latest firmware update for the Slim+Lite, 3.80.

Japanese punters will get an EPG for scheduling their telly-on-the-go (sadly, we're lacking in that department, as in so many areas on this blasted isle), with video scene search also added.

Secret Image Of Sony Ericsson Game Phone..

Sony denying that we were not working on a game phone. So when these leaked pictures of a new game phone by Sony Ericsson emerged, the mobile phone world collectively held its breath. A game phone from Sony Ericsson? Could it be a real PSP phone?

Er, no! It's a Sony Ericsson F305, which is actually quite a low end phone, but which comes with an accelerometer for motion-controlled games, a few game-oriented buttons on the front keypad, and, well, that's about your lot! No HSDPA or even standard 3G - just slow old EDGE connectivity, plus a few other features such as an MP3 player.

Future Of Broadband UK..

UK, United Kingdom a great country which have it's own progress speed but now a days suffering from crappy broadband speeds, extremely dodgy advertising from the suppliers (never has the phrase "up to" been so liberally abused) and a constant bemoaning of better services abroad. Hell, didn't we invent the Internet for gawd's sake?

A meeting is being held between the government, industry reps and regulator Ofcom to discuss how to prevent the UK slipping down the global broadband league. Come the end of the year, we'll be more Accrington Stanley than Arsenal if things carry on as they are.

iCall Brings Somthing Special in to the iPhone..

We all have seen plenty of flavours of VoIP funnelled up the iPhone's special connector when no one's been looking, but this latest version called iCall looks to be the best yet.

Still in its beta version, it lets anyone chin-wagging on the iPhone switch from GSM to Wi-Fi instantly and automatically during a call in order to save cash money in chat minutes. You'll obviously need to be in a Wi-Fi zone for said switch to be available, but other than that, that's it.

Developed across the pond, it's an American application but can be used here simply by registering on the site as an iCall Pro user once you've downloaded the iCall Basic version.

It's also completely free to use and install, which immediately makes it great in our book.

Mobile Phone in Beacon Tower Style..

Beacon tower, it was used for communication in old time, now it's the time when you will see the Beacon tower in mobile phone.

This mobile phone, for example, is inspired by the Beacon Tower, a structure that was used in the erstwhile years for people to communicate!

Mobile phones comes with selectable part that can be fragmented according to the needs of the users.

The camera part is detachable for not always one is at their photogenic best. The battery door is a powerful tool of individual expression for you can have different designs displayed on it and the middle keys on the keypad have backlights which will blink when you get a call, something preferred far more than vibration mode these days! You can choose the color in which you want your mobile phone to blink.

Sagem New Mobile my721X "So Ice"

Sagen introduce it's new mobile phone in the market my721X "So Ice". Sagem is trying to making some low cost handsets.

With the "So Ice", Sagem have attempted to create a fashion phone with a good quality camera, while keeping the price under control. But a close examination of just what Sagem is offering indicates that the my721X may not be as attractive as it first seems.

Bear in mind that the my721X is currently available in France for around €200, which pitches it directly against a number of midrange phones. One of these competing handsets is the Sony Ericsson K770i, and it is clear that the Sagem loses out badly when it comes to technical capabilities compared to this key rival, but we'll look at this in more depth in a moment.

The Sagem my721X "So Ice" is an attractive handset weighing just 90 grams, it is only 9.8mm thick and yet it includes a multimedia player, FM radio, microSD expandable memory, Bluetooth, a 2" display and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Review of Samsung Soul

The Samsung Soul is the first mobile phone review I've done in a while, but I felt it deserved more coverage as it's an intriguing mobile phone. Not only does it look stunning (which is a nice new trend that Samsung have managed to keep up throughout their entire Ultra range of mobile phones, of which the Soul is set to be the last), but it comes with some cracking features as well.

The Samsung Soul is the flagship phone for Samsung for 2008, so you'd expect it to be feature-rich, but feature-rich and good looking? That takes some doing!

For starters, it'll have a touchscreen (which is par for the course these days), together witha 5 megapixel camera, GPS, WayFinder 7.0 software, and a curious weather application as well. From the sounds of it, this will give you a heads-up on what the weather will be doing where you now, by combining your current position with an online weather service.

5 Megapixel Motorola Zine ZN5..

Motorola has been working on a 5 megapixel camera phone in collaboration with Kodak for what seems like years. Finally, the partnership might be about to bear fruit with the launch of the new Motorola Zine ZN5 camera phone at the CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas tomorrow.

The Zine will be the first phone released since Motorola split itself in two in an attempt to stop the company's mobile phone division slipping even further into the red. This won't make the Zine any good, though, as it still comes from a company whose last innovation was to paint the RAZR pink and sell it as a new phone!

New Nokia N-Gage Gaming Service..

Those of you longing for a better mobile gaming experience will be pleased to know that Nokia have now made the new N-Gage gaming service live on their web site. Currently only of any use for owners of Nokia N81, N82, and N95 phones, the N-Gage service will be rolled out to N73 and N93 owners in the coming months.

N-Gage, of course, used to be a phone in its own right, but after performing dismally, it was pulled by Nokia. The new N-Gage platform seeks to resurrect the concept of mobile gaming, but on existing phones, rather than on a dedicated gaming phone.

Dramatic Price Cuts on Prepay Handsets in UK

Meanwhile, according to the latest figures from market research expert GfK, high-end phones are making up an increasingly small part of prepay handset sales.

Despite the fact that operators say they are targeting the high-end market, they have also been paying heavy prepay subsidies.

Two thirds of all prepay phones sold in February cost less than £50; one year ago, it was less than half.

As a result, the value of prepay sales has fallen. In November last year the value of all prepay phones sold was 14% less than in the same month in 2006, despite an increase of 26.6% in the number of phones sold.

One GfK analyst said: ‘With contract sales slowing down, operators are focusing their energies on the prepay market, and the increased competition is manifesting itself in falling prices.’

Orange, for example, has been selling half-price mobile phones for a few months.

The falling prices culminated recently in Carphone Warehouse’s £2.95 Sony Ericsson J110i offer. Unsurprisingly, the low price boosted sales of the J110i, which has featured in the top 20 of Mobile’s prepay handsets chart for the past few weeks.

LG Viewty KU990 Review..

Features:
Camera resolution: 5 megapixels
Digital zoom: 16x
Screen size: 3"
Available colours: Black
Weight: 112g

Pros: 5Mp camera with plenty of modes and features; large, responsive touch-screen; innovative software tools

Cons: Jog wheel takes some getting used too, unable to upload mp3s to Muvee Studio

Unfortunately, the results are usually lacklustre at best, with the majority of models suitable for nothing more than a handful of grainy caller ID pics. In recent months, this trend towards mediocrity has thankfully begun to fade, with models such as the Sony K810i and Nokia N95 offering impressive in-built cameras. Now, with the LG Viewty KU990, LG is attempting to raise the bar even higher.

This eccentrically named gadget is a touch screen tri-band 3G-capable mobile phone equipped with a 5 megapixel sensor. In addition to taking stunningly vibrant images, it can be used to record video at up to 120 frames per second and is equipped with a host of advanced photography features, including auto and manual focus, an image stabiliser, multiple ISO and shutter speeds, a continuous shot mode and a professional Scheider-Hreuznach lens. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, it could almost be classed as a camera first, and a mobile phone second.

Again iPhone sales graph is going up..

Sales of the iPhone have been given a big kick after refreshing it's tariff plans. It is because of advertising flow has been increased .

Interest in the device had dropped significantly after the much-hyped launch led to an early spike, but changes to the contract prices appears to have re-sparked consumer interest.

When we go over the tariffs with customers now, it’s much less of a stumbling block. The new prices have put it on a much more level playing field with phones like the Nokia N95.’

The changes occurred at the end of January, when O2 responded to criticism of the Apple iPhone high tariff costs by tripling the minutes and doubling the number of texts available to the device’s users.

Motorola Planing for 2008..

I got this news from different resources that what is motorola planing regarding new launches.

Of more interest to us, though, are the mobile phones that Motorola will be releasing in 2008. Here, there are some juicy rumours doing the rounds, but these may be more like wishful thinking from Motorola fanboys (or at least their PR department!) than reality.

Top of the lot must be the Motorola ZiNE, a new line of Motorola handsets with some top-end features. The most impressive of the new ZiNE line-up will be a camera phone that Motorola is allegedly working on with Kodak.

Personally, I'm not holding my breath, as Motorola have consistently underwhelmed in previous years. However, the technology isn't beyond Motorola's labs, as they're preparing to release the A1600 phone in China, which features a 3.2 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and GPS. They certainly need to develop a phone with something like these features if they're not to slip further behind the competition in 2008.

We should know more come the CTIA show in April, where Motorola traditionally shows off its new hardware.

The camera quality of these models are very good, ncluding the simple candybar form factor and HSDPA data speeds. And, while the C902 may offer the more powerful camera, the C702 arguably boasts the more rounded suite of features.

The C702 Cyber-shot comes in black and blue, carries a 3.2-megapixel camera and is certainly the more ruggedised of the two phones; it's splash and dust resistant, finished with steady grip materials and also comes with a wrist strap. Nokia N96 Super Smartphone

I have heared a lot of rumors about Nokia N96 because it was supposed to meld the brawn of the N95 with the gaming goodness of the N81.

It really isn't much of a stretch to say that the Nokia N96 super smartphone marries the best of both worlds for the N81 and Nokia N95. On the one hand it has stuff like Symbian 60 and a 5MP camera like the N95, but it has more of the appearance of the N81, along with the N-Gage gaming platform. But the N96 brings more to the table too.

Expect the Nokia N96 to launch with an asking price of about $800, but it probably won't have support for US 3G.

Now Your Mobile Phone Will Act as a ATM Machine.....

Yesterday I read this news that now we can use our mobile phone like a ATM machine, it is very surprising to every mobile phone user. Spanish Bank La Caixa, which is primarily a savings bank, unrolled a new ATM service that allows clients to access their money through their mobile phones, I do'nt have the exact idea about the services which the bank is going to provide on mobile phone.

But customers can perform any number of transactions they usually do in front of an ATM machine with their mobiles. They cannot withdraw cash but can check their account, transferring amount to another account etc.

This is the time where every body needs optimized things or you can say we are trying to create a optimized world. Electronics companies are moving very fast towards this, I have just heared that Lobster has launched 5 in 1 multimedia gadget which very useful or you can say "ALL IN ONE". It is multifunctional, compact and stylish.

Lobster consists just of a big screen and represents, at the first sight, nothing interesting or unusual. Yet, this is not the case, because the modules, which can be connected to this device, perform different functions. Altogether there are 5 different modules: MP3 player, GPS navigator, hard disk, camera and cardiometer.

Motorola May Sell Mobile Phone Division

Motorola's battered stock soared 10.3 percent Friday after the company signaled it may get out of its trademark mobile phone business. As the world's No. 3 mobile phone maker, Motorola said it is also exploring strategic alternatives including a possible separation of its mobile devices business from other units.

The company said it was looking at a "structural and strategic realignment of its businesses to better equip its mobile devices business to recapture global market leadership and to enhance shareholder value."

Analysts said Motorola could get at least $5 billion for the troubled unit. But they cautioned that a sale, spinoff or joint venture won't alter the unit's severe challenges and said the lack of promising products in the pipeline may be a deterrent to any buyer.

Xbox 360 : Let the games begin

Having a godfather is always an advantage for anybody, and when your godfather is the richest man in the world, things just could not get better. I am talking about the Xbox 360, the brainchild of Microsoft, market leaders in the software industry. Coming in as an improvement over the Xbox and launched in 2005, the Xbox beat the Playstation 3 and the Wii by one full year.

Add to that so many interesting games such as Assasin’s creed and Call of Duty 4, and we surely have a winner on our hands. There are also extensive media features incorporated in the console, as it allows you to watch HD DVD movies and offers a decent online selection of downloadable movies and pay-per-view TV shows. Microsoft has suitably taken care of the dreaded red ring error that many Xbox consoles have been accused of having.

It now comes with a 3 year limited warranty, and gaurentees replacement of faulty consoles. That was really a huge sigh of relief for me, as that was the only thing keeping me from purchasing the marvelous Xbox.the console is very lightweight and the main reason for that is the detachable hard drive which is its USP over other consoles like the PS3. the package comes with a wireless controller and the console can support upto four controllers. The tech aspect is well taken care of as the Xbox 360 comes with 3 processing cores running at 3.2 GHz each. The maximum output of any game is 720 p, but it can be upgraded to 1080p if your TV supports it. The sound system is dolby digital and is one to die for.

In game surrounds are very much realistic with the fantastic speakers. Then of course there is the Xbox Live service which was a huge hit. But this time around, it comes with an added advantage. Users can now have membership to the Xbox Live service that lets him make his own list of friends and text them and see their gaming cards, besides other features.

To sum it all up, the Xbox 360 is one heck of a gaming device. If you are an avid gamer and need your daily dose of adrenaline, the 360 scores much aheasd of the PS3 and Wii.
