Yesterday I was searching for the perfect handset that could gift to my friend on his birthday. It was then I came across the latest Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phone. This handset I found to be a perfect gift for my friend with it striking features andcolourful characteristics. You know, it was the comfortable size that made my eyes strikes on this model. I found the light weight model handset too easy to hold in hand. The handset was purchased my me and I gifted it to my friend this morning. You won’t believe that he was too surprised of the gift. He didn’t expect anything of this sort, but was surely planning to buy this handset.

The Nokia 6500 Slide model handset has an expandable memory option that makes it easy to store the required data. My friend has a fascination for photography. The handset is there fore a real buddy of him. We tried photography on this and the results were really amazing. The handset has a Carl Zeiss lens and LED Flash technology in it that made the photos really stunning.


Even the FM radio function has charming features as it provides excellent music on the handset. The latest hits available on the handset are no doubt a real music entertainer. Really I am now proud of presenting the Nokia 6500 Slide mobile phone to my friend.

Samsung F210 – Fundoo Styling

Finding a mobile phone isn’t a difficult task as the market is flooded with lots of latest mobile handsets. However, finding the right one that actually meets all your needs is extremely difficult and puzzling because of so much of choices. I was also looking for a gadget that lets me stay connected to my close ones and the world while at the same time let me have some fun as well. My search ended when I spotted the F210 from Samsung. The gadget is just awe-inspiring and its swivel-opening system simply caught my gaze and I was compelled to at least have it in my hand for once. Holding the phone was another surprise as it was very lightweight & just 88 mm x 31 mm x 20 mm in size. The large, high-resolution & colourful screen was the other reason why I was simply mesmerised by the appearance of the gadget. The gadget comes with Bluetooth, & USB connectivity, allows internet browsing via the XHTML web browser, and so on. Staying connected without making a call is made easier by the messaging service that includes the MMS, SMS, IM, and email. The gadget incorporates music features i.e. the FM Radio and music player, comes with a 3 mega pixel digital camera, and other fun features.

I always wanted a gadget that looks gorgeous and lets me enjoy listening to the music, capture the videos and images I like, playback and share the images or videos with others, send messages, and it also has Bluetooth in it. The Samsung F210 has it all! Great!

Being alone could put you in great boredom. In loneliness, the mind and the heart become dizzy. The only way to get out of this is to have a friend like Nintendo DS Lite, a friend with whom we can share our feelings of anger, laughter, fun, revenge, sorrow, and joy. This cute handy friend always stays with you, specially, when you are on mission to save your world and your princess from the cruel intentions of the devil.



Oops! I become little bit dreamy but what I am telling you is true. I was so amazed when I saw the Nintendo DS Lite for the first time. It attracted me at very first sight and I was instantly carried away by it. I immediately bought it and now I am enjoying it at full extent. Its Dual Touchscreen fulfilled my dream of getting into another world, just by waving my hands. Mainly, I was flabbergasted with the graphics it delivers, but its sound quality and other features are also superb.



With my DS Lite, I got many fabulous games like Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain, Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends Edition, Electroplankton, and how can I forget my much-loved craving, the Super Mario Bros. In addition, many other games are available with Mr. DS Lite; I am not able to mention their names here as it could fill my whole blog. Anyways, in a whole, the Nintendo DS Lite is a superb handy gadget, and I am sure that after having it in your hand you won’t seek for more.

Samsung U600 - The Slider Phone with Unique Features

Many new models of slider phones have been launched into the markets of late by all leading manufacturers. I was looking for a light weight slider
phone for some time that could offer good value for my money. Then one day I had a chance to explore the new Samsung U600 at a Samsung showroom in a market. The handset's shining metallic finish appealed me a lot. The retailer briefed me about the main features of the device and told that it weighed just 81 gm. It is then that I decided to buy it.

I found that the device has a smooth slide opening mechanism as I was able to slide open it without any hitches. Its large and round navigation button is quite comfortable to use. Its touch sensitive keys are very sensitive and I often tapped the keys twice when I actually intended to tap them only once. Compared to its size, the handset has a relatively big screen. It sports a 2.2 inches, 262K colours TFT display that shows good quality images.

I was able to capture some brilliantly coloured images with the help of its 3.2 mega pixel camera which is also equipped with 4x digital zoom and auto-focus. Its "Smart Search" application helped me in getting the files by simply entering first few letters of the file names into its search field. The device displayed me all the files that have the typed initial letters. The handset is equipped with a useful Name Card Recognition feature. I loaded some photos of business cards into the Samsung U600. The device magically pulled up all the useful information from the cards and put that into my contacts' list. How cool!

I feel that the Samsung U600 Ultra Edition 10.9 comes in a shiny casing which is available in either a sapphire blue, garnet red, platinum metal & in a copper gold colour. The handset feels good in the users hand as it is a lightweight handset which is easy to use with a single hand. The phone is elegant & slim will get much attention for its looks alone. The U600 Ultra Edition 10.9 is similar to the Motorola KRZR K1 with its glossy & shiny appearance which will gain attention from all those fashion conscious mobile phone users

Apple iPhone: Something Different

Mobile phones are becoming popular not only because it is a medium of communication, but also due to its multipurpose uses. Now, you don’t have to carry an ipod, camera or digital diary. These days mobile handsets are coming with all these features and it has truly become a versatile device. I was for all time excited to have such instruments. Hi tech mobile phones give me the joy that I always wanted. The range of iphones have fascinated me with its looks and functions. Although, I have used several handsets, yet the Apple iphone is really a special one for me. I have not seen such a big display showing millions of colours in any other phone. The quality of the camera and music player is a real treat for me. I can make my friends jealous showing off this phone.

I was pleasently surprised to see the speed of internet connectivity of this Apple iphone. Now, I won’t have any problems to email my friends. Also, I can read news, play games, listen to my favourite music, etc, through it. The huge space of data storage gives me the freedom to store any item on my handset. When this device came into the market, I was one of the first to purchase it. Now, I am proud of doing so. Apple has definitely brought a masterpiece this time. This phone is certainly an asset for me. I can not think about any other phone as of now.

DotMobi to launch new mobile search

I got this news from different sources DotMobi is going to launch a search engine for the mobile internet next month. The company is announcing that it can provide a better experience for surfing internet through mobile than existing search services, because of the amount of information it has about mobile websites.It is time to surf the web through your mobile phones.

In addition to returning relevant search results, DotMobi’s engine will only list web pages that are optimised for the mobile internet. The search engine won’t bring up pages that are difficult to read on a small mobile screen or ones that are made up of a large amount of data.

‘The big desktop search engines [such as Google and Yahoo!] are returning hits from desktop search and squeezing them onto mobile. It often ends up ruining the user’s experience,’ said James Pearce, CTO at DotMobi.

DotMobi sells the .mobi domain name, and has some big name investors including Nokia, Google, T-Mobile, Telefonica and Vodafone.

Mobile Phones Could Detect Radiation from Nuclear Terrorism

Researchers at Purdue University are working with the state of Indiana to develop a system that would use a network of cell phones to detect and track radiation to help prevent terrorist attacks with radiological "dirty bombs" and nuclear weapons.

Such a system could blanket the nation with millions of cell phones equipped with radiation sensors able to detect even light residues of radioactive material. Because some cell phones already contain global positioning locators, the network of phones would serve as a tracking system, said physics professor Ephraim Fischbach. Fischbach is working with Jere Jenkins, director of Purdue's radiation laboratories within the School of Nuclear Engineering.

"It's the ubiquitous nature of mobile phones and other portable electronic devices that give this system its power," Fischbach said. "It's meant to be small, cheap and eventually built into laptops, personal digital assistants and cell phones."

The system was developed by Andrew Longman, a consulting instrumentation scientist. Longman developed the software for the system and then worked with Purdue researchers to integrate the software with radiation detectors and cell phones. Cellular data air time was provided by AT&T.

Maria Sharapova Becomes Sony Ericsson Brand Ambassador

Sony Ericsson announced that it has signed Maria Sharapova to an exclusive four year sponsorship, becoming the company's first global brand ambassador. Maria, who turns 21 in April this year, will be working with Sony Ericsson's design team on a range of products and accessories. Additionally, she will undertake consumer brand campaigns designed to engage Sony Ericsson's core target audiences.

The off-court agreement complements Sony Ericsson's 6 year $88 million global title sponsorship of the WTA Tour which was signed in January 2005.

Commenting on the announcement, Dee Dutta, Corporate Vice President and Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson Mobiles, said: "Now in our seventh year as a company, the brand has evolved significantly and securing a global brand ambassador is a natural progression to take our brand to the next level in an increasingly competitive market place."

Maria Sharapova added, "Even though most people know me as a tennis player, I have so many passions beyond the sport like fashion, music, film and design; which Sony Ericsson and I are going to be exploring together through our partnership."
